From the main menu select the options to View/Edit a customer order. When viewing a customer order you can make changes to quantities and prices. You can also manage works orders to build any assemblies.

On the left you'll notice a column labelled 'BOM'. If the item is an assembly then a green 'BOM' flag appears in this column. Click the green 'BOM column and new works order information appears as shown in the above image. At this stage you can change the build date and build Quantity. In our example the build quantity was 25 (the same as the customer's order) but we changed it to 15. Maybe our production capacity is more efficient at that quantity. At any time we can come back and 'Add' another works order to build the remainder.

When you select the option "View {BOM), Edit or process this Works Order" the Bill of Materials appears (see the next page)
